In this riotously funny Southern-fried comedy, the three Verdeen cousins – Gaynelle, Peaches, and Jimmie Wyvette – could not have picked a worse time to throw their family reunion.  Their outrageous antics have set tongues wagging in the small town of Sweetgum (just down the road from Fayro) and the eyes of Texas are upon them, as their self-righteous Aunt LaMerle is quick to point out.  Having “accidentally” crashed her minivan through the bedroom wall of her husband’s girlfriend’s doublewide, Gaynelle is one frazzled nerve away from a spectacular meltdown.  Peaches, the saucy number one mortuarial cosmetologist in the tri-county area, is struggling to decide if it’s time to have her long-absent trucker husband declared dead.  And Jimmie Wyvette, the roughhewn store manager of Whatley’s Western Wear, is resorting to extreme measures to outmaneuver a priss-pot neighbor for the affections of Sweetgum’s newest widower.  But the cousins can’t back out of the reunion now.  It’s on and Gaynelle’s hosting it; Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette have decided its success is the perfect way to prove Gaynelle’s sanity to a skeptical court-appointed psychologist.  Unfortunately, they face an uphill battle as a parade of wildly eccentric Verdeens gathers on the hottest day of July, smack-dab in the middle of Texas tornado season.  Things spin hilariously out of control when a neighbor’s pet devours everything edible, a one-eyed suitor shows up to declare his love and a shocking high-stakes wager is made on who bakes the best red velvet cake.  As this fast-paced uproarious romp barrels toward its surprising climax, you’ll wish your own family reunion was this much fun!

Gathered on a stormy evening at Worthington Manor to celebrate Edward's fiftieth birthday are his attractive wife, her playboy brother, Edward's befuddled older sister, his ex-wife and his daughter, a college student. Also present are his shady lawyer and his up-tight business manager with his giddy wife and sexy southern secretary as well as the butler, the housekeeper, the maid and the cook. Each has a motive that is barely established when the lights go out! A fun and equally intriguing mystery unfolds as the audience is invited to participate in an interrogation of the suspects and help catch the killer!  You’ve never seen anything like it!

An Empty Plate in the Café Du Grand Boeuf

No menu necessary at the world's greatest restaurant, the Café du Grand Boeuf in Paris. Why? "Because we have everything," headwaiter Claude admonishes waiter-in-training Antoine. On this hot July night in 1961, the two join waitress Mimi and chef Gaston in awaiting the imminent arrival of Victor, the Café's owner and sole patron. But when "Monsieur" returns from the bullfights in Madrid, disheveled and morose, his wish is simple: to die of starvation at his own table. The frantic staff, whose very lives depend on Victor's appetite, try all means to change his mind, but to no avail. Finally, they make a last-ditch plea: Out of respect for their life's work, will he let them prepare one final meal—provided they leave it in the kitchen? Instead they will describe it, course by course, over a series of empty platters. Victor reluctantly consents, and the "feast of adjectives and adverbs" begins.

Competition and compassion collide at the 75th annual Topa, TX Chili Cook-Off in this quick witted tale of secret recipes, beauty queens, forbidden love, and so much more! Ever since she was a little girl Charlene "Cookie" Buckwright has come to Topa for the annual cook-off. Since those days of coming to Topa with her father, who has since passed, Cookie has continued the tradition by bringing her own family. Although Cookie is a fierce competitor she has yet to win first place on her own. With the death of the current champ, Leticia Gomez, the title of chili champ is now up for grabs, as well as, $5,000 and a contract to have the winner's chili sold in grocery stores across the Lone Star state. However one thing stands in her way..........Luanne McCloud. No one can remember a time when there was peace between Cookie and Luanne. Is this the year? Probably not! Caught in the crossfires of wigs and ladles are a bevy of fun and heart warming characters from a fashion designer who makes cargo pants for hamsters to a daredevil who just got his first chin hair.

Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna -- men, women, children and animals.
